    Julie Morgan sits down with Evelyn Jones to talk about American Beach. Jones volunteers at the American Beach Museum. She used to visit American Beach as a child and now lives there as an adult. American Beach was purchased by Abraham Lincoln Lewis, President of the Afro American Insurance Company. Lewis had the idea to buy the area so his employees would have somewhere to go for "recreation and relaxation with humiliation".
