Restaurant Gets All “Dressed Up” As McDowell’s From Coming To America Movie

A Los Angeles restaurant, Fat Sal's Deli shed it's normal theme to get in on the Halloween festivities.

The deli known for it's "more than 40 unique sandwiches" became McDowell's from Coming to America.

You know McDowell's, it's the fictitious restaurant in the iconic Coming to America movie that's so close to McDonald's you have to wonder if it's legal.

McDowell’s is where Eddie Murphy AKA Prince Akeem and his friend Arsenio Hall AKA Semmi worked after all their goods were stolen when they arrived in Queens, NY from Zamunda, Africa.

McDowell’s is also where Prince Akeem met his future Princess, Shari Headley AKA Lisa McDowell.

*Oh now I remember*  Yes, THAT McDowell's!  Honestly, who can forget McDowell's or Coming to America?

According to one report this “new” concept for Fat Sal’s won’t be around long, October 30 & 31 only.

It looks like they are really getting into it too, check out this tweet!

Arsenio Hall also got in on the action posting to Instagram about his old stomping grounds.

They also sold McDowell’s merchandise.

I'm sure this will make people beg even more for that Coming to America sequel!
